wow. . .just watched i am legend- i really liked the first half of the movie, and i have seriously not cried so hard in a movie in AGES!!! and if you've seen it, and you know me at all, you know which part i was crying at. like seriously, a nervous breakdown happened.
another campier movie version of the book it's based on is the last man on earth starring vincent price- its on AMC every so often. xo

People had some funny criticisms about this movie, but I really enjoyed it. (Except for quite a few lines in the last two scenes. They had a little too much OMG JESUS!!1! allegory for my tastes.)
So glad they didn't go with the alternate ending. That would have been a little over the top.
Wait, what was the alternate ending? The ending in the movie was pretty uber-cheese, but having walked into the theatre with NO idea as to what the movie was about, I rather enjoyed it too. Melissa about ripped my arm out of its socket every five minutes and kept telling me her stomach hurt so it lightened the scary bits for me. I love when the dog runs into the dark building....so creepy!
